Spanish Sage Latin Name - Salvia lavandulaefolia

Aroma - Lovely fresh, sharp, herbaceous aroma.
Extraction - steam distillation
Part Used - the leaves.
Country of Origin - Spain
Chemical Constituents - Cineol, camphor, a-pinene.
Uses - Excellent in hair care (try adding to the final rinse water) and useful for problem skin too.
Can help clear mucus and promote digestion.
Helpful for relief of aches and pains. Works well with Marjoram and lavender for muscle stiffness and rheumatism.
Initial trials have shown that Spanish Sage improves memory in both the young and the elderly.
Caution - Avoid in pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.
